The primary goal of the MS degree is to provide classroom and clinical experiences that will allow entry-level athletic trainers to grow into professionals with the experience and confidence to be great clinicians. The result is clinicians who self-assess, critically evaluate new ideas, think creatively, and integrate scientific evidence into clinical practice. The mission of the program is to facilitate the development of athletic training professionals with advanced clinical skills, who ask and seek answers to unique scholarly questions via original research as they integrate new knowledge into their evolving clinical philosophy.

Gained an understanding of systems physiology with particular detail in muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems.The human physiology graduate program is designed to meet the needs of students who are creative, self-motivated, and possess a clear vision of their goals and aspirations.

Demonstrated basic anatomical knowledge of the human being with particular detail in the musculoskeletal, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems.

This module will consist of a minimum of 45 contact hours with teaching taking place between 9am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. You may have the opportunity to augment your learning by exploring London's museums, including the Science Museum, the Hunterian Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Gordon Museum. There will be two sessions in the dissection room to facilitate learning about the skeleton and the cardiovascular system. Furthermore, the Anatomy & Physiology Online software will allow self-assessment in preparation for the final module examination.

The use of computer-assisted learning during tutorials will enable you to learn using virtual 3D representations taken from the Visible Human data set. On this module you will learn the coupling of structure with function through a series of lectures, tutorials and practical sessions. Develop and increase your understanding of basic human anatomy and physiology.
